Is this rest area open or closed from fires? May be traveling south through week of Sep 20 and trying to determine route. Thanks

Open. I park here 2-3 times a week on my route

Its open hardly ever busy, I stop and can rest for a few hours with no disturbances. Very peaceful and very beautiful when the sun is setting...
