There is hardly any car dropoff in San Pedro. LAX is best option or alternatively long beach. I rented from LAX dropped my passenger at the port returned to LAX to return the car and rode in a Super Save can to be dropped at the terminal. Sounds tough but is not as bad to do. Good luck

No rental car drop offs at Pier. However Princess has buses from LAX that'll are very nice vehicles & usually a tour guide with cruise info. I don't think walking from lax is a reasonable option Jerome . Have fun.
There are no car drop off's anywhere near & too far to walk. Best bet may be to get a shuttle.
