I'm going to answer my own question. My party with children was turned away as Rodney said "I rather not seat your party to take up my entire patio as I have regulars coming in this morning." It was 8:30AM. I'm assuming it was the children based on other reviews but perhaps I'm wrong, oh dear, what else could it be?! He saves morning seats for regulars at his discretion? Either way, he did indeed say he didnt want us there.
We showed up with our 14 year old and when we got there, there was a family there with a baby under 1 and another couple arrived shortly after with a 3 month old.
Turn away children..... That's not true. It's your typical semi upscale Louisiana breakfast spot. It's well worth the price... Give it a try
i dont believe that is their policy or if that is even legal, they do however typically require yiur entire party to be present before seating. This iplace serves a high quality excellent plate of everything, the price is high compared to everywhere else you can order breakfast, the quality and and service are worthy of the price. I dont hand out compliments lightly, even though its expensive ,its worth it.
