Better give them a call for a response. I do not know if they allow camping on the sands.
Yes, they camp on the sand, but no reservations
You can rent on the sands on the lake side but it is 1st come 1st serve!! No electric or water. It gets very crowded on the beach, especially on weekends! We were just there this weekend and found this all out. Call the campground and ask what the best time is to show up for a site on the beach. They are extremely nice and helpful!!
First come first serve on the sands... beach usually full on Thursdays to Sundays... go to the beach early so you can reserve your spot like before noontime. Camp far away from the water just in case it will rain hard & you will encounter problems...also call ahead if there's potential spot... hope this helps
