Our local is the same way
It happens more than you realize I don't know if it's just incompetence or laziness
That seems to be widespread throughout most businesses these days. There seems to be a systemic breakdown with regards to True customer service. Back in the 70s and 80s, if you complained to a manager about your food you were treated like a king or queen. Nowadays if you complain to a manager about your food, you are more likely to be scoffed at and shunned. They seem to treat customers as if they were secondary to their business. It's a sad statement on society as a whole. Lately my plan to counteract this return to barbarianism in society, is to try to grow my own vegetables and be selective of my meats that I choose and simply cook at home. It starts cheaper, far safer and I avoid being treated like a second hand citizen. Oh, let's not forget the extremely high prices now for what is the so-called fast food.
