It's not bad at all here. It is nothing like northern utah! It rarely snows here.... it is cooler in the canyons but I don't think you will need to be in snow clothes or anything ... it's better to put thermals on under your clothes then if you get too warm you can shed a layer. And btw it does not get below freezing that often, so just keep an eye on the weather so you have an idea of what to pack ... bring a pack or back pack with a coat or warm sweater and lots of water, it's usually dry weather no matter what time of year ... I grew up in Bunkerville Nevada, it's about 40 miles south of St George and 100 north of Las Vegas... I just moved back to the st George area ... it's hot as hell in the summer but I hike year round.. always bring lots of water. My pack has a camel back in it so it comes in handy. And snacks to keep you going
Below freezing.
Nighttime low temperatures in the canyon can be quite cold those months, ranging from upper 40s down into low 30s or occasionally down to the 20s. As another user said, it's generally colder in the Canyon at night than in town (St. George). Snow is relatively rare in those months
Below freezing. I would not recommend camping in a tent.
Its colder up the canyon then st george... also take into consideration the wind chill factor. It's most always breezy up there.
It depends on the year, but plan on lows in the 30's. Low 40's if it's especially warm.
