16, just learn to be on time and work with a good attitude.
I totally agree with Tonya's answer. I believe most places require you to be at least 16, but if you show your maturity and a good work ethic it should go a long way if they are on the border line of whether or not to hire you.
Most jobs in a restaurant setting, would be appropriate fir a,16 year old, such as bussing tables, dishwasher, setting tables, etc. It would depend on tge restaurant, and if you are in highschool, you would need a work permit. The best thing to do, is dress nicely, then go inquire about employment availability and what the age restrictions might be. I had my children do the same thing, when they wanted to start working. It taught them to be polite with a future employer, work skills and work etiquette. This all counts towards future employment! Best wishes to you.
