I was just reading about this in the Happy Valley Moms Facebook group - the chatter there is that Penn State Hershey Medical is taking over the building and Party City is moving down to the next plaza where Spirit Halloween usually is and reopening in the summer. Sources are someone's friend who works there and others who confirm. I hope it is true.
Don't know about closing, but I can say their prices are maxed. They used to be the "dollar store" for cards and party items; now after buying there, you can't afford the actual party.
