Its 8:15 and lobby is closed also they are only taking cash and when asked for a receipt they say they are out of paper and money gets walked to the back instead of going in the register...hmmm

I experienced that the other day...I gave the cashier my card and she came back 5 minutes later with my card and no receipt.When I requested a receipt,it took them another 2 minutes to come back with a receipt for my order but saying it was paid in cash when I used a debit card...I immediately requested the manager for her name and to see if she was aware of this odd procedure...

Sorry E, I have never experienced that but like you that situation seems fishy!
