John Nelson, there are places for RV's, and places for tent camping. There is some shade, hiking trails, a creek, outhouse facilities. It's easy access right off the freeway, exit 34. It is inexpensive, and free for the day to take the trails!
Go to Alkali Creek. It is on the same exit as the big National Cemetery.
