Agreed. They have been cagey about this when I have been in. I'm sure it has to do with the coming recreational boom in customers, but they are not treating existing folks very well.

Jorge, if you have a concern directly for the business, you need to ask them, not Google. I think it's worth remembering that recreational marijuana has only been available in Illinois for four weeks. While businesses can plan for the shift from only medical to medical and recreational, they can't start any of those plans until midnight o'one on January 1. Have some patience while they work out the kinks. Demand has been HUGE, particularly on the north side. Inventory disruptions are to be expected.
It was the same everywhere. They said manufacturers weren't shipping flower, but that's not true, the dispensaries were stockpiling, and just not selling it to medical patients cuz they'll make 30+% more off recreation.
