Agree with 3 previous posts. I have seen people catch fish here but only in this time of year-- spring. I think most of Northern Illinois is pretty much overfished. But it's like the other side of a coin where you watch a fire. Just here you cast your hook in and stare. Nice way to pass time and you can't get burned physically, only your pride.
