Many of the cashiers are just high school kids who won't be there long. You can always ask for a manager if you want, but try to be patient. Treat it as a training opportunity for you and the clerk that will make the world a little bit better.
Maybe it was the cashier's first day alone on the register? Pasta isn't supposed to do favors for you, but if you're looking for flavor, try salt n pepper packets. Panera isn't a pasta restaurant anyway, try a Bacon Turkey Bravo with Chicken and wild rice, or turkey chili. If there is no flavor or favors there, stop whatever it is you do to ruin your taste buds hun. Next option, try a different Panera ;) Hope this helps!
