Legally, service dogs do NOT need ID, BECAUSE NO SUCH THING EXISTS. If you were to go to an airport, they yes, you would need some sort of identification. In the state of ohio they dont need to be vested either according to the ADA. So, if I were you, and you have a service dog, I would contact the ADA about what is being said the rules are.
Service dogs are always allowed. They must have their I'd and vest on. No "companion" type service dog I read somewhere.
So service dogs are okay then?
Just guide dogs I believe
