I have eaten several times in their "menu dining" area. They have long tables in that area too so you might sit alone or with other folks. I think their prices are fair when you get their homemade bread, apple butter, whipped butter, main meat, like 2 pieces of their wonderful fried chicken, and 2 sides for $11-$12. I love their cracker pudding too. Don't forget to try it whether doing family style or menu dining. Enjoy!!!
They may do that. I'm not sure.
If you choose the family style dining then you will be in a very large room that's filled with long tables. You'll be sat at one of the tables, potentially with other families/people until the table just about fills up. I forget how many fit at a table (maybe about a dozen?). So if you are by yourself or with a small group it's more than likely you'll be dining alongside other people at the same table. It's all you can eat, with a set menu (you can see that on their website). The servers will bring out (& refill when necessary) the family style platters, which you pass around the whole table.. family style. :) I've only been twice, but both times I enjoyed a good meal & met some new, interesting people. They do have a "menu style" dining, with a separate, traditional restaurant diner room, but I have never tried that, I don't know about their menu/prices, but I suspect you'd get your own table like a regular restaurant. Hope that answered your question properly.
