I just called to see if they were catching any fish off the pier, I was answered with, we wouldn't know we are in the restaurant. Then I was hung up on. Never will I go there again to fish. Such a rude man.

Wow... This saddens me. They have ALL always been so good to my family and myself. Maybe he was just having a bad day. We all do. A single distasteful phone call wouldn't defer me from a place of business that's well known for outstanding community services, public involvement, etc. etc... I'm sorry to hear of your negative experience. My recommendation would be to give them one more chance. :-D

At least he didn't lie to you and tell you they were. Lol. I love going to that pier. It was probably the old man that cooks there. He can be sour sometimes. Unless ur on the pier when you ask if they are catching, they wont be by the time you get there anyway.

The restaurant stay busy, delicious food, the pier to fish is 12$ and to just walk is free. People catch black drum, red drum, spots trout rainbow fish, it depends on the bait you are using rather you get a good catch or not.

It's great atmosphere, they are very nice and food is wonderful. They are busy running all the things combined with pier. It is busy season and u problem caught in a bad moment.

Settle down and fish 😄

I've fished there many times over the years and never was I talked to that way. I've recommended this place many times to friends. I'll probably go to bouge inlet pier from now on. I do appreciate all the comments.
