Crab cake was good but $14 for a single crab cake is a little expensive for a little neighborhood restaurant.

This restaurant has the best pecans pie desert.The Grouper was absolutely delicious. The crab cakes were delicious. The staff was excellent.

$14 may sound expensive for a crab cake appetizer, but the fact that you are getting pure crab meat , and with how filling the item is, I believe it is well worth the money if you are not going to eat two of them plus the sides that come with ordering the meal. That was my go to dinner every time I would visit Brothers Shuckers!
