Do you pay per a person? And do most people sit out on the grass or in their cars?

Its ten dollars per person. Most people sit in chairs outside thier cars, or in their cars. But, with the ability to camp out there, some people set up tents or shade in the back of the theater. It's great.:)

It is $10 per person not per car. $10 per car per night if camping out overnight. Most sit outside their cars in chairs... On blankets... Whatever you prefer.
