Kombucha is listed as a nutrional drink. All food and drink listed as Nutritional is excepted by EBT. So, why doesnt your store not except EBT when purchasing Kombucha? Can your store work on fixing that blimp in the system?

But, its listed as Nutritional. Anything and everything that is listed as Nutrional is excepted when using EBT. If we want to speak on sematics lots of nutrional foods are medicinal ( blueberries, tea, dark leafy greens, ginger root, mushrooms...) Kombucha is listed as nutrional. The food lion in scottsville is the only store in the surrounding area (Charlottsville, Dilwyn, Palmyra, ) that denies EBT when purchasing Kombucha. Walmart, Sharp Shopper, Aldies excepts EBT when purchasing Kombucha, this is a nutrional drink. Somebody just needs to fix the glitch in the system because Kombucha is listed as Nutrional. Anything listed as supplemental on the other hand is not excepted by EBT.

Because the have a medicinal value as well so it comes through as a supplement
