Yes, i believe they do. They did for me when I moved from Illinois to Colorado. It's just as valid as the hard copy. Still a valid form of Identification. However, they do not have to accept it.

I don't know if this location does. but my buddy went a couple months ago with his paper and said some places accept but a lot don't.
