The last time I was there, there were a ton of people in the water there
There is a sign posted that we are not supposed to get off the boardwalk or enter the water. People were in the water however, so I don't think this is enforced much.
I saw no posted dogs that you couldn't but I would advise not to but every time I've gone people were defining in very small groups.
