I agree with the person who said its bevause alot of the vendors/ farmers travel to other towns and markets on other days. I have even seen some of tge same folks at Q mart in Quakertown. Hometown Market has great hours though so people who work all hours can enjoy going there.

Goes back to history in years ago farmers markets we're in different towns on different days and the farmers from each one of the markets we travel around so the customers didn't have to travel as far. Today these Farmers still travel there a green dragon on Fridays Mahoning Valley on Saturday and so on the market is open from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. many of the vendors including the outside vendors are set up more like 630 or 7 so it's an opportunity for you to come before or after work in most cases

On the weekends they host alligator wrestling and roller derby and the rest of the week days they have senior citizen karate tournaments and self defense courses for senior citizens

Honestly it's just always been that way but there are other places almost like that open on other days
