The short answer is yes. Good to very good, but it is what it is, old school comfort food at a reasonable price. If you like catfish, chicken, meatloaf, greens, mac and cheese, pork chops (on Thursday and Sunday), peach cobbler from canned peaches with vannilla ice cream, you will be happy. On pork chop days, they will fry them up fresh, if you ask for them. Better meatloaf than Boston Market or Hy-Vee. But if you expect Andre's level desert s, you will not be happy. Good food, lots of it at a reasonable price.
