Occoneechee does have cabin rental and a new splash park for the kids.
Occoneechee has cabins and yurts. But they are a little strange. You can't even score out where you'd be staying before you book it. Rudds has a nice set up for camping with tents and campers. Don't know what else to tell ya.
You can rent cabins at Occoneechee State park which in a few miles away from Rudds Creek
