If you're in an RV, it's better to park at a cracker barrel or Walmart. Big trucks need the spaces at a truck stop because they have to stop and park, but they're not allowed in places that RVs are. When you park an RV at a truck stop, it's taking away a spot and actually makes the trucker potentially break the law. It's getting harder and harder to find legal, safe, free parking that's mandatory per fmcsa regulations. Paid parking is highway robbery. There's nothing quite like being out of drive time, exhausted, pulling in a truck stop thinking there's a spot, only to find a pickup truck/camper/ RV/ u-haul, etc...in the spot. Sorry about the book but motorists really don't understand unless it's spelled out. Stop parking RVs at truck stops. That concludes this public service announcement. Have a safe night
