Usually the lot directly across the street is secure. If that is full and the road beside the palace is as well , I have parked at the library several times and not had an issue
I agree with Greg Across the street or to the north at the library have worked for me
We always park right next to the theater in the library parking lot.
I've also parked either across the street or at the library with no problems
On the street is fine!
We parked on the street. It didn't seem bad. If you were really concerned consider Park in a safe place and take a taxi or uber to and from or perhaps get dropped off.
