Can anyone tell me how to get the drawers to release on the Ashley file cabinet and desk. I cannot find a release point on the two-part slide.

Did it come with instructions? I'd check those if not look on the boot and sides for something to release it. If none of that works is call the store

Although I'm unsure personally how to do it, I'd recommend calling into the store directly to get them to tell about the specific model you purchased, or search for it on YouTube because there could be some tutorials on there for you.
