Alcohol is not allow in NYC parks. However, I never seen anyone checking for alcohol at this park. I guess if you can be discreet, no one will notice.
We celebrated there Georgia day and there was a river of the vine. But I am sure for regular days -not permitted, especially near playground. I guess if you will drink in not loud company you can do it.Do not bother others. Have a fun!
I called 911 about 2 months ago they didn't even know where wolf pond park was. Noone ever came! As far as alcohol goes i don't know. Maybe call 311
