Yes, and bring drinks and snacks. Also smart phones to electronically sign their waivers. They have axes and targets. That's it.

Yes, you have to make a reservation for your group. Otherwise, there's a walkin schedule on their website but it's on a shared lane for other walkins. There's also no groupons or anything. Bad Axe did it once before years ago but will never run them again
If you have a group, it's probably better to ensure you get a lane and timeslot. But i don't think it's required. You might also find a groupon, etc.
