Are train rides closed Mondays during summer too? If so, how far of a walk is it from the zoo to the aquarium?

I would not try the walk in the heat of the day

Not sure about train but walk is about 20-30 min walk from zoo to aquarium

Too far to walk in the heat and then you have to walk back. Walking through the botanic garden is a pretty good walk.

Not too close so 25 minutes.

Closed every Monday. They give you a map with directions to drive to the aquarium.
