Are the animals out when the weather is cool?

I went there a few weeks ago when it was cold and many of the animals were there, but some were not. I still had a good time.

The zoo has a temp threshold for certain species. For example, Lions will be out, but gorillas and tigers won't be. This is what we experienced with 40 degree temps this past Dec...a month ago

Most of them should be. Fun fact the hippos pool is heated so the hippos can be out in cold weather.
