They normally don't accept returns but they are also very particular about what they take in to consign. Make that point and show them how the damage was hidden and they may work with you.
Usually there are no returns. However, if you bring it in and explain to them what happened, I'm sure they will be reasonable. The worst thing they could tell you is no.
They are reasonable... they will work with you about the damage. Sometimes they do miss some defects.
