Back in the day Pancos had a little flag on the table, want more food ? Raise the flag and the server brings you more food. It was all you can eat. Is it still like that? Its been decades.

No, this is not the same company as that Poncho's Buffet. Poncho's Buffet went out of business.

Ponchos’s is a family owned business and I have grown up going there. The recipes are handed down by great grandmothers who were the most fabulous cooks. My absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant in the world. Family owned places are always the best. The food is amazing and tastes the same as when I was a little girl going there with my family. Ponchos’s is not to be confused with the chain Panchos. My favorite item is their Deep Fried Green Chili burrito, but so many other delicious items to choose from. Everything made from scratch. Every one I’ve referred there or we took there has loved it. Try it, you will be glad you did. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sad to say all Arizona panchos closed around 10 years ago. The only panchos currently still open for business are in several places in Texas. If I were rich I would definitely reopen several franchises because all I see are comments by people wanting to go to Panchos again! Everyone, have a fabulous day!!!

The also have Someburros in Chandler and Flagstaff. I grew up eating at Ponchos on South Central in Phx and miss their salsa/ red sauce.

WRONG PONCHO'S. Pancho's had the red flags, this is PONCHO's.

That was Panchos Mexican Buffet not this long time family owned Panchos with better food.

Not same chain. The name is spelled differently. Pancho's was a mid-western fast food buffet. Good for kids, bad for people who want good food.

I myself miss Pancho's, me and my family had history with Pancho's from Scottsdale, Los Arcos Mall, to the one on Indian School Rd after that, to the last one that was standing in Mesa. Wow, closing Pancho's was like closing part of our family. They had good food and great service. Pancho's will always be a great memory for us 😥. That's one Flag I would love to see raised again.
