It's been awhile since we were in AC. Can we still "pay as we go" for the jitney or do we have to purchase tickets? And, if we can pay as we go, what is the price and is it exact change? Thanks so much.

The price for a jitney ride is $2.25 per person. You can pay with cash and the drivers do have change.

The price is 2.25 for one ride, the drivers make a change for up to $20 bills. You can download the jitney surfer app and buy any number of tickets and pay using your phone ( there is a discount) if you are senior, you can buy tickets ( 10 tickets cost $7.5 ) the tickets sold at AC deli located at Georgia Avenue and Pacific Avenue open 24 hours.

10 ride tickets are $7.50 available at most check cashing stores.
