It is a fun place. The kids will like it. There is one house where you can play with all the things in it. The blacksmith shop was cool. The had candle dipping. Yarn spinning. Good place to learn some history. Stay all day and enjoy it.
You have to enter at least a half hour before closing, but can stay as long as you'd like until closing. It is a self-paced outdoor living museum. Our family took a couple of hours to complete the route, but we discovered that was slow compared to many others.
All day if you want to open to close
Pretty much as long as you want to, or until they close.
