Intitially about 120 for background, physical and related. If you stay at their "hotel" it's aditional. The classes run around 7K but with financing its closer to 11K.
Hi Emerson! The cost to you is dependent on your situation. Most of our students finance the tuition and allow their employer to repay the loan through tuition reimbursement. Others use state or local agencies, VA funding and some pay with credit or personal funds. One of our Admissions Advisors can work with you to explore which options are available to you and some result in little out-of-pocket funds. For more information on our program, please call our Admissions Department at 800-831-1300 (M-F 9am-6pm EST). Thank you for contacting us here at Roadmaster and have a wonderful day!
7k is crazy price, all truck schools here in LA cost around $1500-$2000 for 2-4 weeks. Same in Florida. Anything more than 2-3k is a rip off.
There is the cost of the school, which you can finance and pay back by signing onto a company that has student loan reimbursement (like Werner, Swift, Schneider, etc.) Then the cost to sit for the written test (I think in TX it is $25). The cost of the driving test, which is $64 max, I paid $30. I think it goes by county or some sliding scale. Go by Roadmaster, talk to Kathy in finance. They'll work with you. They're worth every penny!
