Not great for kids younger than 8th grade I think.
How much per person? How many people are reccomend for each room? What room is best for 12 year olds with 1 adult?
We recommend ages 10-12 and up but have had as young as 7 in our rooms. If the whole group is comprised of kids 12 and under, it is usually best to have at least one older person with the group to help them stay focused. Escape rooms are very much an all-ages activity.
I've had kids as young as 9 in our group. ..with adults. Behind the Curtain is best for the younger kids. that being said, I wouldn't do a group of ONLY 9 year olds.
I would say older than 15 for the room we had. Its really more of an adult environment and its not geared to young children. Not that it's adult in content, just figuring out the clues is not childs play.
I had my daughter's 12th birthday party. The rooms are pretty complicated. I think probably 10 yrs and up is good.
I would say yes for older kids. Probably middle school age or older.
