Hello, are you still accepting books for resale and offering appraisal services? I have approximately 1,000 science fiction & nonfiction books, many complete series, first editions, and author signed, for resale. Mint condition, all, though I understand you need to see them in person to properly appraise. What would be a next step with you? I am happy to supply you a list in advance. These are from my stepfather's collection. He is downsizing and ready to sell. Thanks!

Yes, we purchase collectible editions, and are always looking for signed or special editions to add to our inventory. We "appraise" books every day as a regular process of assessing value and determining if items are a good fit for our inventory. Items have to be physically handled to be "appraised" because there are numerous condition issues not easily seen in photographs, but I do encourage people to send photographs of items to me for an initial view. If items look good an appointment can be made to bring them in, or if it is a large collection we do travel for on-site evaluations. As far as a formal appraisal, especially a written appraisal, that takes time and is a professional service and it would be performed for a fee. Note: WE ARE OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call, text or email in advance of visiting our location, where there is FREE PARKING. It is best to contact me directly to discuss your particular needs and circumstances.
