Can Pills be in a weekly pill box or do they have to be in their original bottles?

I always put mine into a daily pill container. Which I put into my carry on.

I have flown numerous times with all my pills in one container in my carryon with no issues.

I have flown several time with my meds in a pill box in my checked bag. If they are life saving meds they need to be in your carry on or purse.
