Do the gates stay open or do they open them at 9am? Would I get in some kinda trouble if I start kayaking at 7 or 8am? Thank you!

Never stayed late but have been on the water at 630am with no issues

I'm not positive, but I think they lock the entrance at sun down, so people who are still trying to get out can. Or you can go a quarter mile done the hwy _past all the no parking signs!_ and that'll never get locked. Not sure if there'd be an issue for overnight.
