I bring cloth bags for the bulk items - I bought them there in the store. They encourage using your own containers and bags and even sell glass jars. I did not try containers and don't know how they count weight without container's weight but I am pretty sure that they do it.
I have not but it is weighted at the register so I don't see why not.
