Yes it's a very Safe area I go there all the time and it's in a Mall and has a lot of Restaurants surrounding the Walmart so Don't worry you will be safe here

Seriously there is no place that is safe you provide the safety for yourself, first and foremost you need to be aware of your surroundings so that means do not be jacking your jaws and bumping your gums on your cell phone don't be on Facebook or scaning Instagram or anything else go in do what you gotta do and get out. Women if you're carrying a purse put your strap across over your head and across your shoulder and clutch it Men if you're carrying wallets put the wallets in the front part of your pants pockets and not in the back and put your hands inside your pocket so nobody can pick pocket you and again don't go somewhere at night oppose to the day.
Absolutely not every time I go in there people are fighting clerk's won't help you no one has keys to locked cases then step out side and have someone take your cart from you at knife or gun point it happened to my mom that's 57 year's old

I've never had any problems at any Wal-Mart with experience like you mentioned here in Vegas That can take place at any place well one just has to be on thier toes with the surrounding.
East tropicana? Its ok a bit older. The other is on south eastern near 215 freeway thats more suburbs its ok too. My fav is south Rainbow n 215 hope this helps.
