When you are 75 years old and need to renew your License, must you have a signed note from a physician before going to the DMV? I know this is necessary if you try to get things done without a trip to the dmv, but what if you show up there?

You do not need a note or an eye exam to renew in person (if you're not required to for a medical condition).

Ron, it is believed if there is an underlying medical condition; or if after the age 65; at the discretion of DMV or medical personnel; drivers over 65 and older renew every four years, in person; visual test conducted free at the DMV, or drivers could have an optometrist complete Eye Examination Certificate.
