They don't take walk-ins. Except for moving permit while you waiting for your appointment (my wait was 2.5 month). Social distancing at sahara location was good, take a look at my photos.

Only new residents and moving permits everything else is appointments
No DMV is taking walk ins unless its for a moving permit. I have noticed the lack of distancing at Sahara and Flamingo. There are many services online. If you need registration, you can fill out paperwork and drop off, with a pick up option.
