Ok, so I noticed that there are different answers to your question which makes things confusing. So I just got off the phone with Lambert's and they said it is first come first served. Occassionally a smaller party will be seated before a larger party because they have to wait for the space for the larger party. I hope this clears up the confusion.
I have never been able to make reservations. I have been told they don't take them.
No just wait in line
I don't know. The times we've gone and it was full we just got a buzzer and took a seat outside or in the waiting area. My guess would be "no" but it never hurts to call and ask. *edit* our party of two walked past several waiting people this past Thursday night. We were seated immediately. Those parties did have a lot of people in them, so maybe that's why they waited and we didn't.
Unfortunately no, unless it's a large party.
