How long can a train block the tracks? I live in Republic off Oneal road. I left my house at 10 a.m and I returned at 12:00. It's still there. I thought there was a shorter span of time they're allowed to block a crossing.

Sounds like there is an issue with the train itself. Under normal circumstances they will move it quickly, inside of 10 to 15 minutes. If it is discovered that extended time will be needed they may break it up if feasible to open the roads that are blocked. Sounds like there may be circumstances going on that is causing the situation. You can contact your local office to get more information

They are allowed 10 minutes. Usually if a train is there for an extended amount of time, it could be an issue with the train and is not safe to proceed till it's fixed.
