The Studebaker Theater is owned and operated by the Fine Arts Building at 410 S. Michigan Ave. The theater has many events during the year that is either a ticketed event or free and open to the public during certain times. It is not opened for tours unless it's sanctioned by the Fine Arts Building. We are not associated with Roosevelt University. And google should change the address to reflect that the Studebaker is located at the Fine Arts Building 410 S. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60605.
@Joseph Idstein: The Studebaker Theater is not open to the public which is why you would not have been able to enter. If you would like to see it you will need to book a tour through the Fine Arts Managment office or attend a live performance. Please feel free to give them a call. The theater is located in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building and has been since 1898.
You're right, I tried to go in the fine arts building the first time I went only for it to be locked. The studebaker theater is next door.
