Does anyone know if the beans and/or rice are vegetarian? Or is lard, bacon, chicken stock or the like used. Looking for something the veg head in the family cant complain about. :)

I can't say with certainty. Next time I am there I will ask and post their response.

I would generally think the same bu El Loro, El Toro, and many others skip the lard to be more available. Again, not for me! I'll take the steak:)

It's authentic mexican food. So my guess is you can bet they use lard to cook with.
