I don't know if you want her to make the stuffed animal or if she would, but she does make clothing from scratch and has made several dance costumes for my son. I would think she would need a pattern although she has made common types of clothes for my son without one. Give her a call. She does amazing work and I highly recommend her.
Unfortunately, I think she specifically deals with alterations on clothing but she's is the nicest lady, you should call her to verify but I doubt it.
