We offer live scan and ink card fingerprinting, and as a direct FBI channeler, we can scan and process out-of-state ink cards by mail. I was told that they will not accept payments from someone else's credit card. I am not sure if it was because the corporate card was issued under a specific employee's name. I paid for my own and submitted my receipt to my employer for reimbursement.
If your company ordered it, they may have already paid. I would check with whatever party requires the background check. However, if they don't pay, then yes, you'd be required to pay.
